Custom designed and manufactured returnable/reusable packaging is a core competency at EXT. Our Returnable Packaging Questionnaire that we have developed over time is the beginning of our process that enables us to design reusable packaging that provides optimal part protection in the most cost effective manner possible. Our returnable packaging is used in conjunction with EXT’s standard pallets and/or other large standard containers or pallets.

Options
With a series of universal plate tools, EXT is often able to create tooling for high volume reusable shipping trays at a fraction of the cost. This is primarily done when the depth of the trays is less than 5 ½ inches tall, when part shapes allow. We are able to create reusable /Returnable trays up to 46 x 48 in od.
Testing
A variety of testing including shock, vibration, and compression to simulate various shipping methods can be performed at a third party provider located minutes from our plant.
